The High Commissioner Launches Construction of Fifty Culverts in Noumbiel

Ouagadougou: The High Commissioner launches the construction of fifty culverts Nearly four months after the official launch of the reception of donations at the Faso Mªbo Agency in Batie, the High Commissioner of the Noumbiel province, Drissa Hema, launched the Agency's work on Saturday, May 9, with the objective of making more than 50 culverts that day, in the presence of administrative, customary and religious authorities, defense and security forces, as well as a youth strongly mobilized for this purpose.

According to Burkina Information Agency, since the official launch on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, many have been contributing in kind or in cash to the construction of the province. Today, they also turned out in large numbers, following the call made by the province's top official, to begin the Agency's work.

Equipped with wheelbarrows, shovels, trowels, and everything else that can contribute to the work, the workers of the day work alongside the technicians with the objective of making fifty (50) culverts. The High Commissioner of the province, after welcoming such mobilization, first congratulated the various donors since the launch and called for more contributions to the Agency.

'The door is not closed, the contribution continues and will continue until further notice,' he declared. 'I also appeal to all volunteers to come and do what they can at the Agency, because the door is now open,' he concluded.
