The 2023-2024 school year solemnly launched at Namentenga

The High Commissioner of the province, Adama Conseiga launched the start of the school year on October 9, 2023 under the theme: ‘Contribution of the educational community to the culture of peace and social cohesion’.

The rise of colors, the message from the president of the provincial bodies to the educational community constituted, among other things, the highlights of the solemn ceremony marking the 2023-2024 school year at Namentenga under the theme: ‘Contribution of the educational community to the culture of peace and social cohesion. ยป

In his address to the education community, High Commissioner Adama Conseiga asked everyone to instill values of peace and social cohesion for the smooth running and success of the school year in the province.

He thanked the State and its partners who are working to relocate IDPs who still occupy certain classrooms. He further congratulated the teachers for their dedication and requested the indulgence of the educational community towards the newly internally displa
ced students for their integration.

In developing his civics lesson, the High Commissioner defined the symbols that characterize the functions of the governor, the high commissioner and the prefect. Thanks to this meeting which brought together all the prefects, presidents of the special delegations of the municipalities of the province, the provincial directors and heads of services, the military and paramilitary authorities, the members of the mutual discussed the life of their structure commune and presented ten prizes to the winners of the Burkina Faso School and University Sports Union (USSU-BF) competitions to the winners.

It was also on this occasion that Mr. Yonli Vincent, winner of the 1st prize for National Excellence on behalf of the North-Central region, received congratulations from the provincial bodies.
