Hangu: A terrorist was killed during a police operation in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Sunday night, according to police. The operation was carried out in Hangu district following reports about the presence of armed militants who had set up an illegal checkpoint, the police said in a statement.

According to Namibia Press Agency, a cache of weapons, hand grenades, and organizational materials was recovered from the site. A search and clearance operation was later launched in the surrounding area to ensure the elimination of any remaining threat.
