Techno Security Employees Donate to Gourma Province Peace Efforts

FADA N’GOURMA – Employees of Techno Security at the Boungou gold mine have donated one million CFA francs to support peace efforts in the Gourma province, in response to a national call against terrorism.

According to Burkina Information Agency, secretary general of the Gourma province, the employees presented a receipt from the Public Treasury evidencing their contribution on Friday, July 12, 2024. This donation is part of a broader appeal made by President Ibrahim Traoré to combat terrorism through a collective peace effort. Koné expressed his appreciation for the gesture and emphasized the importance of community involvement in national security efforts.

Casimir Noula, representing the donors, stated that the employees felt compelled to contribute part of their earnings towards the war effort, underscoring their commitment to the country’s stability and peace. The secretary general voiced hope that other citizens and groups in the region would be inspired to contribute as well, highlighting the significant needs to address insecurity in the area.
