Dokuy: Teachers from the Basic Education District (CEB) of Dokuy gathered on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the schools of Dokuy and Dassi for a day of reflection focusing on exchanging teaching experiences.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was organized by the Dokuy Basic Education District (CEB) to facilitate the sharing of teaching experiences. The Head of the CEB, Anselme Taro, expressed his gratitude towards the teachers for their dedication and highlighted the importance of this activity in enhancing professional skills.
Two locations, Dokuy and Dassi, were designated for the gathering, with Inspectors Ytionou Traore and Bahiny Traore overseeing the activities at each site. In Dokuy, Salif Zoungrana delivered an arithmetic lesson to a CE2 class, which corresponds to second grade.
Post-lesson, the teachers engaged in discussions about the API worksheet and the lesson content, ultimately reaching a consensus on the mathematics worksheet. Inspector Ytionou Traore then led a session on the significance of group work in the classroom, emphasizing the teacher's role in guiding activities collaboratively with students.
The presentation sparked numerous responses, indicating a clear understanding and effective comprehension of the content among the teachers. The educators of the Dokuy CEB have agreed to continue such initiatives, as they are expected to enhance cohesion within the CEB.
