Teachers in Solenzo Embrace Commitment and Serenity for Second Term Success

Banwa: The second quarter was marked by serenity and commitment in the Solenzo 1 and 2 CEBs. Teachers from the Solenzo 1 and 2 Basic Education Districts placed the second term of the school year under the sign of serenity and commitment to work for conclusive results, during the raising of the colors, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Solenzo ''C'' public primary school. The various school principals of the town of Solenzo, the teachers from the Behoun, Solenzo "A" and "C" schools, as well as the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education and the president of the Solenzo special delegation, were all present for the raising of the national flag around the flagpole at the Solenzo "C" school.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the school's teachers, all in uniform, welcomed the participants to this ceremony marking the raising and launch of the third term. At approximately 7:30 a.m., the students sang the national anthem in the Dioula language. At the end, the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education for Banwa, Pedro Blaise Coulibaly, encouraged the teachers to implement educational reforms and to participate in organizing professional development days to strengthen their skills.

Mr. Coulibaly took the opportunity to appeal to all teachers to do everything possible to surpass the 94.99% pass rate on the 2026 CEP exam. According to Marou Ilboudo, president of the special delegation for the municipality of Solenzo, he is aware of the difficulties faced by teachers and students in the municipality's schools, particularly the lack of desks and benches, but he promised to take action to alleviate these challenges. Students were urged to be diligent and study hard in class while avoiding cheating.
