Tea : sales could generate $1 billion by end of 2023

In Kenya, tea export earnings are expected at 150 billion shillings ($1 billion) in 2023. The expected amount would be up 12 billion shillings ($81 million) from the level a year earlier . The authorities have in fact put in place a program which makes it possible to reduce the price of a 50 kg bag of fertilizer to a level of between 3,000 and 3,500 shillings compared to a market rate of between 4,000 and 6,000 shillings.
