Tax Expenditure: Benin, 1st in Africa and 8th in the world, in terms of transparency

The Economic Policy Council (EPC) and the German Institute for Development and Sustainability (IDOS) have launched the Global Tax Expenditure Transparency Index (GTETI). With a score of 66.3/100, Benin climbs into the Top 10 of the best countries in the world in terms of transparency of tax expenditures and, first African country.

At the end of the ranking, South Korea comes first followed by Canada. France, for its part, is 5th. Benin with a score of 66.3/100 ranks eighth (8th) in the world just after the United States and Italy. In addition to being in the Top 10 countries in the world, Benin comes in first position in Africa.
