Tanzania and Uganda have entered into a bilateral agreement for the construction of a natural gas pipeline. This significant development was formalized in a recent signing ceremony between the two nations. According to Africa News Agency, the pipeline will transport natural gas from Tanzania’s southern regions to Uganda. The gas will be utilized to power various industrial operations and generate electricity. This initiative is also anticipated to generate employment opportunities and attract foreign investment, contributing positively to the economies of both countries.
