The Tanzanian National Microfinance Bank (NMB Bank) has just launched a multi-currency green bond issuance program totaling 1,000 billion Tanzanian shillings ($400 million). The program aims to raise 75 billion shillings under the first tranche of this program, with the possibility of raising an additional 25 billion if there is sufficient demand.
