Tansila: The sports and cultural activities of the Basic Education District (CEB) in Tansila concluded on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the school B grounds in Tansila.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the football final saw Douma school triumph over Tansila B school with a narrow victory of 1-0. Douma school celebrated their win by taking home a trophy, a set of jerseys, a ball, and a financial reward of fifteen thousand CFA francs. Tansila B school, securing the second position, received a ball, a set of jerseys, and a financial reward of ten thousand CFA francs.

Tansila C school claimed third place, earning a ball and ten thousand CFA francs, while Tansila School A finished fourth, receiving a ball. In the athletics category, the top three participants in both male and female categories were awarded five thousand, three thousand, and two thousand CFA francs for first, second, and third places, respectively.

The head of the Basic Education District, Jean-Baptiste de La Salle Dakuyo, extended his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event's success, with special thanks to the patron, Komonsira GErard Dioma. The sponsor's representative, Guidjouma Dioma, emphasized the importance of the teachers' work and the role of sport and culture in schools. Amadou Coulibaly, the PDS, lauded the efforts of educational supervisors, teachers, and VDP in the commune's development before officially closing this year's activities.
