Tannounyan: The Population Mobilized for Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation in Niangoloko

Niangoloko: As part of the second phase of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation, a flag-raising ceremony was held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the municipal high school of Niangoloko. The event was chaired by Ousseni Ouedraogo, the Prefect and President of the special delegation of the commune of Niangoloko. The ceremony saw the participation of several schools and administrative services within the commune.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Prefect, in his address, emphasized the messages and vision of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. The focus was on patriotism, sovereignty, and collective responsibility. Citizens were urged to embody these values through concrete actions, marking a departure from all forms of dependence and imperialism.

The Prefect concluded with a call to action, stating, “We must be the actors of our development,” which was met with loud applause from the participants.
