Teenager Fatally Stabbed in Okahandja, Namibia


Okahandja, Namibia – A 17-year-old boy, identified as Henry Kock, died from an alleged stab wound at the Okahandja State Hospital on Monday morning. The incident occurred in Okahandja, a town in Namibia.



According to Namibia Press Agency (NAMPA), Inspector Maureen Mbeha, the community affairs commander of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in the Otjozondjupa Region, informed the Namibia Press Agency (Nampa) about the incident. Kock was found with a stab wound to his neck by a passerby in Vekarapi Street around 02:30 on Monday morning. According to preliminary police investigations, Kock was still alive when discovered and was immediately taken to the Okahandja State Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.



The motive behind the stabbing remains unknown, and no arrests have been made in connection with Kock’s death. The Namibian Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
