Update: Suspects appear in court for Kwanobuhle murders

The five suspects arrested for the murders of 6 people and the attempted murders of 4 others appeared in the Kariega Magistrate Court today, 17 July 2023 on charges of murder and attempted murder.

Mzolisi Nyiki (28), Unathi Booi (31), Sinethemba Mahlahla (28), Lee Fortuin (34) and Shafiek Jones (21) are remanded in custody until 20 July 2023 for consultation with their attorney.
