Burkina Faso Undergoes Minor Ministerial Reshuffle by President Ibrahim Traoré

Ouagadougou: President Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso has implemented a minor reshuffle in the government, resulting in the entry of three new ministers and the departure of three others.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the reshuffle introduced Yacouba Zabré as the Minister of Mines and Energy, Stella Kabré in charge of Regional Cooperation, and Mathias Traoré as the Government Secretary-General. They succeed Simon Pierre Boussim, Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, and Jacques Sosthène Dingara, respectively. Additionally, the reshuffle saw changes in the portfolios of two ministers. Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré replaced Olivia Rouamba at Foreign Affairs, while Jacques Sosthène Dingara took over National Education from Joseph Ouédraogo. Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, previously the Minister of Communication, Tourism, Arts and Tourism, was elevated to the rank of Minister of State.
