TABC signs two cooperation agreements with African investment support structures

The Tunisia-Africa Business Council (TABC) signed two more cooperation agreements with the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Agency for the Promotion of Investments (ANAPI) and the International Network of Francophone Investment Promotion Agencies (RIAFPI), on the sidelines of the fourth edition of the Tunisian-Congolese business forum.

The event was jointly organised last February 14-18 by TABC and the Tunisian embassy in Kinshasa.

The agreement inked with the RIAFPI, which brings together seventeen investment promotion agencies in French-speaking Africa, is geared towards improving the business climate, supporting the Executive Secretariat in upgrading and standardising business processes of different agencies and boosting trade and economic relations of enterprises in countries of Francophone Africa.

Stepped-up trade, investments and partnership between Tunisian and Congolese enterprises are the core objectives of the agreement signed with Congo’s ANAPI.

Under this agreement, the ANAPI will mainly undertake to provide support to economic operators wishing to invest or develop their activity in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The ANAPI and RIAFPI will participate in the sixth edition of the Financing Investment and Trade in Africa (FITA 2023) Conference slated to be held next May 3-4 in Tunis
