Swedish Foreign Minister to Visit China for Bilateral Talks


Beijing: Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maria Malmer Stenergard, will embark on an official visit to China from October 16 to 17, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced on Tuesday. This visit marks an opportunity for bilateral discussions and strengthening ties between Sweden and China.



According to Namibia Press Agency, Stenergard will be visiting China at the invitation of Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Chinese foreign minister. The visit is expected to include a series of meetings and engagements aimed at enhancing cooperation and dialogue between the two nations.
