SWAKOPMUND: The Roads Authority (RA) has made a significant announcement for the residents of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay: the NaTIS centres in these cities will operate on Saturdays during December to better serve the community’s needs.
According to Namibia Press Agency (NAMPA), this decision is part of a strategic initiative aimed at reducing congestion and improving the accessibility of NaTIS services for customers. Recognizing a surge in demand, the RA is committed to ensuring that its services are more readily available to the public.
This extension of operating hours will be specifically implemented on the Saturdays of 16, 23, and 30 December 2023. During these days, the services at both the Swakopmund and Walvis Bay NaTIS centres will be available from 09h00 to 14h00. This adjustment is particularly timely, considering the festive season, when there is typically an increased need for NaTIS services.
