Suudu Andal Sport: 60 Participants in the First Sports Marketing Training Session

Ouagadougou: The "Suudu andal sport" program (nest of sporting knowledge in the Fulani language) launched its first high-level marketing training session in Ouagadougou on Friday for more than 60 participants from sports federations recognized by the supervising ministry, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, it was the program's creator, Ambassador for Sport Charles Kabor©, who himself launched its implementation through this first session dedicated to sports marketing. The opening ceremony was held at the August 4th Stadium under the chairmanship of the Minister of Sports, Youth and Employment, Annick Pikbougoum.

She welcomed the choice of sports marketing as the inaugural theme of this series of training courses which will run throughout the year. "This initiative is both relevant and strategic. It responds to a real need: that of equipping our sports federations and the actors in the sector with modern tools capable of strengthening their autonomy, improving their governance and increasing their attractiveness to partners," said the head of the department in charge of sports.

The training brought together more than 60 participants, including marketing managers from various sports federations, former athletes, and members of other structures within the national sports movement.

According to the Ambassador for Sport, Charles Kabor©, this initiative aims to support the country's sports federations and stakeholders by strengthening their capacities in sports marketing and management. The objective is to contribute to the development, empowerment, and professionalization of Burkinabe sport.

This training session, led by national experts, will take place over 48 hours (from March 6 to 7). Suudu andal sport is an open, inclusive, and results-oriented initiative. It aims to be a lever for sustainable transformation serving all Burkinabe sports disciplines.
