Police require assistance in locating business robbery suspects and a stolen 10-ton truck following an armed robbery at a business premises in Maokeng today, about 11:15.

It is reported that two suspects entered the premises pretending to be customers when suddenly one of the suspects took out a firearm and pointed it at one of the workers. All workers were robbed of their cellphones. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and tied up all the employees before they fled the scene in a 10-ton white Mercedes Benz truck loaded with 9kg empty and full gas cylinders.

The registration number of the truck is unknown at this stage, but it is suspected that the suspects have taken either the roads towards Vredefort, Parys or the N1.
