OUAHIGOYA — A suspect wanted for the murder of his colleague and the severe injury of three others was apprehended by the municipal police in Ouahigouya, northern Burkina Faso, on Wednesday. The arrest followed a national police alert issued the previous day.

According to Burkina Information Agency, The national police expressed gratitude for the swift action by the municipal police and the collaborative spirit that led to the suspect’s capture. In a press release, they also thanked all those whose cooperation made the arrest possible, highlighting the effective partnership between local and national law enforcement agencies.
