According to Burkina Information Agency, Traor© emphasized the importance of recovery and preparation after the successful match. The victory at the El Abdi stadium, located near Casablanca and Rabat in Morocco, was witnessed by Burkina Faso’s ambassador to Morocco, Mamadou Coulibaly, along with his colleagues and enthusiastic members of the Burkinabe community. This win has propelled the Stallions to second place in their group, trailing behind Egypt.
“We thank the people for their support and we promise to do everything we can to get the other three points,” Traor© reiterated, highlighting the team’s dedication to their fans. He had scored the second goal in the 33rd minute, contributing to the team’s 4-1 victory. The other goals were netted by Josu© Tiendr©b©ogo, Mohamed Zoungrana, and Franck Lassina Traor©. Djibouti managed a late consolation goal with a penalty by S. Akinbinu.
