Eldama Ravine: Stakeholders in the judicial system including the general public have been urged to attend the Judiciary Dialogue Day to better understand the judicial services and processes. The Eldama Ravine Senior Principal Magistrate, Richard Koech, announced that the event, scheduled for Friday, January 31, will bring together various stakeholders such as the Police, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), the Prison Department, and the public for meaningful discussions about judicial processes.

According to Kenya News Agency, the list of topics for discussion includes understanding the bail and bond process, navigating succession cases, insights into criminal and traffic cases, a detailed walk-through of filing and accessing cases virtually, and an explanation of fines and their payment processes.

“The Judiciary Dialogue Day will provide an opportunity for the public to interact with legal professionals and gain a deeper understanding of the court system,” added Koech. He emphasized the importance of public participation in the event to enhance understanding and contribute to the success of the judiciary.

Koech called on individuals from all walks of life to seize this opportunity to learn more about legal processes that impact daily life. “We encourage everyone to attend and take advantage of this valuable opportunity,” he said.
