Sports and Cultural Competitions Launched in Namissiguima Schools

Namissiguima: The municipal and educational authorities of Namissiguima have officially launched the Organization of Sport and Culture in Primary School (OSCEP) activities within the Namissiguima Basic Education District (CEB).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch marks the beginning of a series of sporting and cultural events where students will showcase their talents in various competitions. These activities will proceed through elimination phases leading up to the final competitions.

Christophe KiEnou, Head of the Basic Education District, emphasized the importance of these activities for children's psychomotor and socio-emotional development in his opening remarks. He appealed for financial support from partners and urged the educational community to fully engage to ensure the competition's success.

The President of the special delegation of Namissiguima also highlighted the role of schools in shaping patriotic citizens who are committed and proud of their country. He called on teachers to commit firmly, students to maintain discipline and tolerance, and parents and partners to provide ongoing moral and financial support.

The launch event featured a gala match where the Namissiguima B school team triumphed over the Ramatoulaye B team with a score of 1-0.
