Special Delegation of Nandiala Evaluates Community Investments

Nandiala: The special delegation of the commune of Nandiala held its second ordinary session of the year 2026 on Thursday, where it reviewed its community investments. The discussions focused mainly on the results of the social mobilization and the adoption of new resolutions aimed at strengthening the community's own revenues.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the session was chaired by the president of the special delegation, Aminata Diallo. It provided an opportunity for the members of the deliberative body to take stock of the priority projects underway in the municipality. A key point of discussion was the assessment of the social mobilization efforts in support of the Nandiala departmental high school, which involves the repair of equipment and the construction of two classrooms. So far, this initiative has successfully raised 5,909,400 FCFA in contributions.

The president of the special delegation praised the community's solidarity and encouraged the population to sustain the mobilization to meet the set goals. At the local legislative level, several strategic resolutions were adopted during the session. These included the introduction of fees for land parcel registration, the imposition of stamp duties on certificates of notoriety, and the formal prohibition of the sale of adulterated beverages within the municipality's jurisdiction.

Aminata Diallo addressed various matters, urging all local stakeholders to increase efforts in raising citizen awareness and mobilizing taxes, which she stressed was essential for achieving the municipality's financial autonomy. Before concluding the proceedings, she expressed satisfaction with the diligence of the delegation members and the commitment of the technical services, urging them to continue their efforts in the service of local development.
