Manni: The population of Manni, capital of the department in Gnagna province, welcomed a special convoy from the Sirba region with relief and fervor on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Arriving under heavy security escort, this convoy reflects the commitment and sacrifice of the fighting forces in service to the people. It consisted of several vehicles transporting essential goods.

A symbolic welcoming ceremony brought together administrative, traditional, and religious authorities, as well as key figures from the local community.

On this occasion, the people expressed their gratitude to the Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR 19) and the Volunteers for the Defence of the Homeland (VDP), whose commitment and vigilance contributed to the success of the mission. For local authorities, this convoy goes beyond mere logistical transport. It represents a powerful signal of social cohesion, solidarity, and hope for a gradual return to normal life.
