Dalian: No.1 soybean futures closed higher on Tuesday in daytime trading at the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE). The most active No.1 soybean contract for May 2025 delivery gained 51 yuan (about 7.1 U.S. dollars) to close at 3,962 yuan per tonne.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the total trading volume on Tuesday of six listed No.1 soybean futures contracts on the exchange was 195,579 lots, resulting in a turnover of about 7.73 billion yuan. China continues to be the world’s largest soybean importer, positioning the nation as a key player in the global soybean market.
