Sourou: The High Commissioner of the Sourou province, D©sir© Badolo, expressed his congratulations to education stakeholders, the Defense and Security Forces, and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) for the successful completion of the written exams for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) 2025 session.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner launched the written tests of the CEP 2025 session on June 3, 2025, at the Dona Drabo A public primary school in Tougan. The event was attended by the provincial director in charge of preschool education of Sourou, Aldjouma Soro, and the first vice-president of the special delegation of the commune of Tougan, Siaka Boro.
For the 2025 session, 1,141 candidates, comprising 550 girls and 591 boys, participated in the CEP in the Sourou province. Several localities, in addition to the city of Tougan, hosted composition centers, which the High Commissioner attributed to the efforts of the defense forces.
D©sir© Badolo emphasized the importance of the event by stating, “It is already a source of satisfaction to be able to launch this exam in our administrative district.” He extended his appreciation to all involved parties for their contributions, which enabled candidates to take exams in To©ni and Lanko© as well.
He encouraged the candidates to demonstrate their acquired knowledge from the eight-month school year, aiming for results that reflect the commitment and sacrifices made by all involved.
