SONATUR Delivers 431 Million FCFA Worth of Community Infrastructure to Dogona, Burkina Faso

BOBO-DIOULASSO — The National Urban Land Development Company (SONATUR) has provided community infrastructure valued at over 431 million FCFA to the residents of Dogona in Bobo-Dioulasso, including a health center, a school, and drinking water facilities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Minister in charge of Urban Planning and Housing, the contribution by SONATUR reflects its societal responsibility and commitment to sustainable development and enhancing the well-being of local communities. He highlighted that these facilities complement the government’s ongoing initiatives in health, education, and access to safe drinking water.

Dr. Robert Kargougou, the Minister in charge of Health, praised the provision of these facilities, noting their significant impact on improving both the geographical and financial accessibility of health services to the local population. He also committed to ensuring that the new health center would become operational promptly to serve the community effectively.
