Ambassador Awale Ali Kullane of Somalia to China delivered a speech at the United Nations Conference on Implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Mechanism (UNSDCF) in Beijing. In his speech, Ambassador Kullane highlighted the significance of UNSDCF in implementing the United Nations’ sustainable development cooperation process in Somalia. Ambassador Kullane emphasized the importance of cooperation in achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. He commended China’s development system and its willingness to share experiences and resources with other developing countries through cooperation, contributing to global progress on the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda (SDGs). During his speech, Ambassador Kullane updated participants on Somalia’s development. He shared successes in security and foreign relations and progress across all government agencies. Ambassador Kullane stressed the importance of equal access to economic and lifestyle opportunities that protect the rights of women and youth.
