Mogadishu – The Minister of Interior, Federal and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, held a meeting with the Head of the African Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS), Ambassador Mohammed El-Amine Souef. The meeting centered around ongoing efforts in Somalia related to liberation, stabilization, and reconciliation.

According to Somali National News Agency, During the discussion, the officials also addressed the current El Nino situation in Somalia, focusing on the impact of flash floods that have caused deaths, destruction, and displacement in various regions of the country. The meeting highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts to address these significant challenges facing Somalia.
