Somali Army Successfully Liberates Villages in Bakool Region from Terrorist Control

HUDUR CITY: The Somali Armed Forces, specifically the 9th Battalion of the 60th Division, have successfully conducted an operation within the Hudur City vicinity, liberating several villages from long-standing terrorist occupation.

According to Somali National News Agency, the Commander of the 9th Brigade of the 60th Division led the military operation. The targeted areas included Abagbeday, Dudumale, Bulo-Kojoor, and Eelgaras, among others, all of which had been under the influence of terrorists, wreaking havoc and terrorizing local residents.

The Commander confirmed that the operation was successful in clearing the areas of any terrorist threats, thereby restoring peace and security to the region. He emphasized that the military intervention was part of broader national efforts aimed at eradicating terrorism and ensuring the safety of the Somali people. Furthermore, he mentioned that a comprehensive security clearance was currently in progress in the liberated villages to guarantee that no remnants of the terrorists remained.
