The Leeré Zêkoura Association of Zabré (ALZ), presented on Friday, July 21, 2023 in the meeting room of the Ouaga 2000 sports palace, an envelope in the amount of one million (1,000,000) FCFA to the Combatant Forces of the municipality of Zabré.

The handover ceremony was attended by the prefect, president of the special delegation (PDS) of Zabré and its second vice-president.

“This gesture is the contribution of our young association, the Leeré Zêkoura association in response to the appeal of the municipal authorities of Zabré, inviting us to show our solidarity with the fighting forces of the locality. We must not wait to be financially well off in order to help those who need it. Our association exists a little over a year ago. It is not even financially autonomous like most associations in the country. But we are aware that daughters and sons of Zabré and Leeré are fighting and falling on the front lines for us. Supporting them is the least sacrifice that we can also make for them”, suggested the honorary president of the Association, Jean Zanzè, representing the president of the association, Tata Geoffroy Zagré prevented.

He went on to hope that the action of the association will inspire other donors.

After receiving the envelope, the PDS of Zabré, B. Alain Bassono, thanked the association and was delighted with its action.

“I was not mistaken about the daughters and sons of the commune of Zabré. It is a commune where the populations are united with regard to the general interest of the commune. You have just confirmed it once again,” he added.

As a reminder, the Leeré Zêkoura association was created on May 6, 2022 and has more than 300 members located in the four corners of the world. Its head office is in Zabré.
