Solidarity in Noumbiel: Nearly Two Million FCFA Raised for the “D¨m¨ Sira” Initiative

Noumbiel: The contribution of the province of Noumbiel to the campaign 'D¨m¨ Sira' or 'the path of solidarity', as of February 2, 2026, amounts to nearly two million FCFA, all contributions combined.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the cash amount from the balance sheet of contributions from the different socio-professional strata amounts to 1,525,195 FCFA, to which are added more than 200,000 FCFA of contributions in kind, indicated the provincial director in charge of Family and Solidarity, Abdoulaye Nacanabo.

According to Mr. Nacanabo, in accordance with the National Solidarity Charter, these funds collected will allow, among other things, the care of orphans and other vulnerable children in school, as well as indigent people in hospitals.

The High Commissioner of the province of Noumbiel, Drissa Hema, thanked all the different socio-professional groups for their high sense of patriotism.

Taking the opportunity, Mr. Hema also appealed to those who had not yet contributed, indicating that they can still do so until further notice.
