Smooth Voting Process Observed in Oshana Region

Oshana: Oshana regional election officers at different polling stations have described the voting process as smooth, with no major challenges experienced thus far.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the presiding officer at the Hifikepunye Pohamba polling station in Ongwediva Constituency, Paulina Shapange, mentioned that they experienced a low turnout at the start but remained hopeful that more voters would show up throughout the day. She assured, "So far, we did not experience any challenges. Everything is running smoothly."

Simon Haihambo, the presiding officer at the Sky Location Phase Two, also in Ongwediva, stated that voters were briefed on what is expected of them, ensuring that everything proceeded without issues.

Victorina Jonna, presiding officer of the Leo Shoopala hall polling station in the Oshakati East Constituency, reported encountering an issue with tablet devices freezing, but it was resolved quickly.
