Sissili Youth Engage in Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Social Networks

Léo, Burkina Faso – The Association for Training and Moral Education in Computer Tools (ASFEMI), in partnership with the Sissili Provincial Youth Council, hosted a conference on “Artificial intelligence and social networks: a bright lever for the youth of Sissili” on Saturday, November 4, 2023, in Léo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Kassoum Koalaga, the president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Léo and the event’s sponsor, expressed his gratitude to the civil society organizations in Sissili for their contributions to the development of the Léo and Sissili communities. He particularly acknowledged ASFEMI and the provincial youth council for organizing the conference.

Koalaga encouraged participants to use the opportunity to enhance their understanding and skills in artificial intelligence and social networks for the benefit of all. The provincial directors in charge of Youth in Sissili and Ziro welcomed the initiative, noting its potential to strengthen young people’s knowledge and skills.

The High Commissioner of the Sissili province, Tewendé Isaac Sia, emphasized that the conference aimed to equip young people with knowledge to be useful to society. He urged the youth to leverage artificial intelligence and social networks for their emergence and development.

Alex Tagnan, president of ASFEMI and a speaker at the conference, discussed the opportunities that artificial intelligence and social networks offer. He encouraged young people to harness these technologies for their personal, professional, and social growth.
