Sissili: The 3rd edition of the Provincial Director of Secondary Education and Vocational Training Cup of Sissili was launched on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in L©o. In the opening match, the Mano A high school in L©o defeated the Saint Jacques high school by 2 goals to 0.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the 3rd edition of the Provincial Director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training (DPESFPT) Cup of Sissili, launched on April 5, 2025, saw the participation of 14 educational establishments from the province. The event, held in the Center-West region, aims to determine the top two teams through elimination stages.

The opening match occurred at the Zio Abdoulaye stadium in L©o and featured the Mano A high school in L©o against Saint Jacques high school. The event was witnessed by promoter Mimtiri Oualb©ogo, the provincial director of Sports and Leisure of Sissili, Yacouba Compaor©, and numerous spectators. The Mano A high school team showcased their skills by securing a victory with a score of 2-0.

The provincial director of secondary education, vocational and technical training in Sissili, Mimtiri Oualb©ogo, who is also the promoter of the event, expressed appreciation for the commitment of stakeholders in the education system. He emphasized the sustainability of the activity and thanked school principals for integrating the initiative into their programs.

Mr. Oualb©ogo encouraged student athletes to foster social skills and cohesion and to maintain good manners. He also urged all participants to prioritize fair play throughout this 3rd edition of the tournament.
