Sissili Examinations Begin: PDS Encourages Candidates During First Day of CEP and BEPC Exams

Sissili: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Silly, Christophe Bonkoungou, visited examination centers in the city to oversee the commencement of the 2026 Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEP) and Junior High School Leaving Certificate (BEPC) exams.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the official delegation, including the Secretary General of the town hall, Mahamadou Tapsoba, and the Commander of the Silly Territorial Brigade, Fati¨ Millogo, began their visit at the Silly "A" center at 7:00 a.m. Here, candidates for the CEP awaited the start of their exams. The first exam envelope, containing the essay, was opened by the PDS at 7:30 a.m.

Christophe Bonkoungou offered candidates practical advice on approaching their exams and wished them success. The delegation then proceeded to the Silly Departmental High School, where BEPC candidates were completing their French exam. The PDS opened the second exam envelope for Life and Earth Sciences (SVT) and encouraged students to remain focused and persistent.

Candidates expressed optimism at the end of the first day. Kobi Yaro, a CEP candidate from Dio school, felt confident about the exams, attributing his preparedness to classroom efforts. Nathan Nignan, a 9th-grade student at Lyc©e D©partemental, found the initial exams manageable and hoped for continued success.

The day concluded without incident, and the jury and center presidents praised the smooth execution of the exams, expressing hope for continued serenity and rigor throughout the session.
