Sissili Authorities Lead Sanitation Day at L©o Medical Center

Sissili: As part of the first phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation, local authorities under the leadership of the High Commissioner of the province of Sissili, Tewind© Isaac Sia, cleaned the Leo Medical Center with Surgical Unit (CMA) on Saturday, April 5, 2025.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the population of L©o, in the Sissili province, mostly young people, responded massively to the call of the provincial authorities on the occasion of this day of the sanitation operation at the Medical Center with surgical antenna (CMA) of L©o, in the Center-West region. Equipped with cleaning supplies, the actors cleared the CMA courtyard of its waste and bulky garbage.



The Chief Medical Officer of the L©o Health District (MCD), Dr. Aboubacary Abdou, and the High Commissioner of Sissili, Tewind© Isaac Sia, welcomed the strong mobilization of the actors who joined this activity aimed at cleaning up the working environment of health workers. For Mr. Sia, the sanitation operation will allow health workers to work in good conditions and in complete safety to provide quality care to the population.



Dr. Aboubacary Abdou expressed his gratitude to the provincial authorities for choosing his organization to lead this activity. In light of the large turnout, this sanitation activity demonstrates the patriotic commitment and civic participation of all to the ideals of the transition.



This sanitation activity took place in a good atmosphere, and the participants returned to their homes and respective workplaces with the feeling of having accomplished a patriotic and civic act.
