SISSILI — The province of Sissili reported a success rate of 45.73% in the first round of the 2024 Baccalaureate examinations, announced on Thursday.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial director of secondary and post-primary education in Sissili, of the 1,124 candidates who participated, 514 were declared successful, evenly split with 257 boys and 257 girls achieving pass marks. The total number of students registered for the exam was 1,131, indicating a high participation rate close to the total registration. The province is now preparing for the second round of examinations, scheduled for Monday, August 1, where 261 students are set to appear.
