Beijing: The experience-sharing seminar between Burkinabe and Chinese journalists concluded Thursday at the National Radio and Television Research Institute of China, attended by authorities from both nations. This seminar marked the end of 11 days of discussions focusing on media-related topics.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event concluded with a solemn ceremony where participation certificates were presented to attendees. Burkina Faso was represented by Mahamoudou Sawadogo, the 2nd Counselor at the Embassy of Burkina Faso in China, who commended the cooperation between Burkina Faso and China.
The Vice President of the National Radio and Television Research Institute of China, Liu Linhai, also addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude to the participants for their attendance and the quality of the productions made during the seminar. The ceremony featured the screening of several reports created by the participants, covering themes such as the environment, artificial intelligence, robotics, Chinese writing, and culinary arts.
Jean No«l Bonkoungou, head of the Burkinabe delegation, and J©r©mie Si© Coulibaly, coordinator of the Government Information Service, extended their thanks to the Chinese authorities and the seminar's organizing team for their support. The seminar took place in Beijing from August 11 to 21, 2025.
