Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Lu Shan, as the ambassador concluded his three-year mission in Burkina Faso. During the meeting, Ambassador Lu Shan provided an update on the progress of Sino-Burkinabe cooperation and bid farewell to the Head of State.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Ambassador Lu Shan emphasized the strategic partnerships established between China and Burkina Faso. He highlighted the mutual support each country provides on issues affecting their vital interests. The ambassador expressed the commitment of both countries to intensify efforts to ensure that their cooperation yields more benefits for development and the well-being of their peoples.
Ambassador Lu Shan noted several ongoing projects aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two nations. He expressed confidence that his successor, along with Burkinabe authorities, will continue to work closely to enhance this partnership. The ambassador expressed gratitude for the hospitality he received during his tenure, affirming his personal commitment to remain a reliable friend of Burkina Faso and contribute to the development of Sino-Burkinabe relations.
