Sindou: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Sindou, under the leadership of Emmanuel Sourabie, organized a training session for school directors on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Sindou.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the training aimed to address the need for ICT proficiency among school principals, enabling them to expedite the processing of administrative data in alignment with hierarchical timeframes.
Emmanuel Sourabie, Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Sindou, emphasized that the initiative is intended to speed up correspondence processing, ensuring that school directors meet the requirements of the educational hierarchy efficiently. The training session, which took place on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, was designed to provide school directors with essential skills for handling computer tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Gaouchou Siribie, director of the Tamadjele public primary school, expressed appreciation for the training, noting its value in enhancing their proficiency in using computer applications. He acknowledged the efforts of Inspector Kam, the trainer, and praised the CCEB's commitment to organizing this capacity-building session, which he believes will benefit the CEB of Sindou significantly.
The training covered practical skills such as converting Word files to PDF and vice versa, installing applications on phones or software on computers, and compressing or decompressing files for efficient communication. Emmanuel Sourabie assured participants that these skills will not only help in maintaining reliable data but also in effective archiving.
Mr. Sourabie encouraged the directors to remain committed, highlighting that the skills acquired would not only advance their careers but also position them as pioneers in the educational system. He concluded by underscoring the importance of computer skills at all stages of a teacher's career.
