Sindou Town Hall Holds Accountability Day to Review Activities

SINDOU — On Friday, July 26, 2024, the Sindou town hall, under the leadership of Issiaka Yadia, president of the special delegation of the commune, hosted an Accountability Day to present a report on activities conducted since his office began.

According to Burkina Information Agency, During the ceremony, chaired by Mahamadi Congo, the High Commissioner of Léraba province, Yadia outlined the implementation of Sindou’s municipal resilience roadmap and capacity strengthening plan. The event, a first of its kind in the locality, was attended by Village Development Advisors, village chiefs, and representatives from civil society and religious organizations. Yadia detailed the execution of various initiatives, including improvements in school infrastructure, water and sanitation projects, professional training programs, and the acquisition of supplies and equipment. The day provided a platform for direct exchanges between the community and the special delegation, fostering transparency and collaborative dialogue. Representatives from civil society expressed their commitment to support the delegation in achieving its developmental goals.
