Vladimir: Three soldiers and one civilian were injured from the detonation of shells in the Kirzhachsky district of Russia’s Vladimir Region, the regional government told RIA Novosti on Thursday. On Tuesday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that a fire at a military base in the Vladimir Region led to the detonation of ammunition stored in a warehouse. The ministry stated that there were no casualties and attributed the fire to a violation of safety requirements.
According to Namibia Press Agency, four individuals were injured in the incident on April 22 in the Kirzhachsky district. Among the injured, one soldier was in moderate condition while the others sustained milder injuries. Two of the three servicemen were hospitalized and have since been transferred to a military hospital for continued treatment. The civilian patient is recovering in the Kirzhach district hospital.
Vladimir Region Governor Alexander Avdeev announced that approximately 20 emergency workers would later assess the damage in the settlements of Gribanovo, Khrapki, and Pershino. He also mentioned that access to the settlements of Barsovo and Dubki, as well as the village of Dubki, remains restricted.
