Seno: The CEB of Dori I Launches Its 2026 Sports and Cultural Activities

Dori: The Dori I Basic Education District (CEB) initiated the Organization of Sport and Culture in Primary School (OSCEP) activities on Saturday in Dori, focusing on enhancing the sporting and cultural talents of primary school students.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the head of the CEB of Dori I, Michel Sanou, emphasized that these sports and cultural days are crucial for students to showcase their talents and enhance their physical and intellectual abilities. "Through these cultural and sporting days, we want to offer our students a space to express their talents, to develop their physical and intellectual abilities, but also a moment to share and discover our cultural riches," he stated.

The chairman of the organizing committee, Fran§ois de Paul Koussoube, outlined that the program for this edition encompasses several sporting and cultural activities. He mentioned that the sporting competitions will include knockout football matches and athletics events involving different schools in the district.

In addition to sports activities, students will engage in various cultural activities aimed at fostering creativity and artistic expression. The program features drawing, ballet, poetry, skits, and lip-syncing. Through OSCEP, the CEB of Dori I aims to advance student development by integrating sport, culture, and education, while also aiding in the identification and promotion of talent within the district's primary schools.
