Dori: Ninety-five trainees completing their training in soap making, hairdressing, and pomade making at the Hoggo Samboel Non-Formal Vocational Training Center (CFPNF-HS) received their installation kits on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, during a ceremony marking the graduation of the center's first class. The ceremony was presided over by the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education in Seno, Hamadou Boureima Dicko, in the presence of parents of learners, school directors, trainers, and educational supervisors. This official graduation marked the culmination of a training program focused on practical skills directly applicable in the workplace.
According to Burkina Information Agency, each of the 95 graduates received a job start-up and socio-professional integration kit tailored to their specific field of study. These kits cover soap making, hairdressing, and pomade making, promising fields that offer self-employment opportunities. Center officials stated that this allocation aims to enable beneficiaries to immediately start their income-generating activities.
The director of the CFPNF, Abdoulaye Cisse, reassured the recipients regarding post-training support. He indicated that the center plans to support this first graduating class through advice on setting up their businesses, assistance in finding suppliers, and participation in trade fairs. The provincial director commended the efforts of the supervisors and trainers. He congratulated the learners for their diligence, attentiveness, and willingness to experiment, which enabled them to acquire valuable skills. Mr. Cisse also expressed the willingness of the administration and trainers to support the new graduates.
The beneficiaries, in turn, expressed their gratitude to the trainers, the center's administration, and their parents, while promising to put their newly acquired skills into practice. This first outing of the CFPNF constitutes an important step in the promotion of non-formal vocational training in the province of Seno, by strengthening the employability of young people through practical and accessible trades.
