DAKAR — Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye expressed confidence on Thursday that Burkina Faso will overcome terrorism under the leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré. This statement followed a bilateral meeting with his Burkinabè counterpart in Dakar.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the determination and honor exhibited by the people of Burkina Faso, guided by President Traoré, are crucial in their battle against terrorism, supported by active regional solidarity. He highlighted that combating insecurity is a shared challenge, necessitating solidarity from Senegal and other nations to support states facing such difficulties.
