Security Forces Eliminate 15 Militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Beijing: Pakistan's security forces have killed 15 militants in two intelligence-based operations in the country's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military announced on Tuesday. The operations were conducted over a span of two days, Nov. 15-16, targeting militant hideouts based on intelligence reports.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the first operation took place in the Dera Ismail Khan district, where troops engaged a militant hideout, resulting in the killing of 10 militants, including their ringleader. In a separate operation in the North Waziristan district, security forces neutralized an additional five militants.

The military stated that follow-up sanitization operations are underway to eliminate any remaining threats. This campaign is part of an effort to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
