Kourittenga/Commune of Kando: The second session of the communal consultation framework held successfully. The president of the special delegation of Kando, Arana Paré, chaired this event on Monday, October 28, 2024, in Kando, with financial backing from the International Cooperation Agency of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and Wallonia (APEFE). The session was attended by municipal authorities, technical and financial partners, and customary chiefs.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the session featured four key communications. These included discussions on the decree establishing the Village Development Committees (COVED), the great green wall initiative, the pricing for Rural Land Ownership Certificates (APFR) in Kando, and the operations of the Local Water Committee (CLE). Salfo Ouédraogo, secretary of the Village Development Council of Mobeiga, expressed satisfaction with the communications, emphasizing the insights gained.

Jean Jacques Teegawendé Bayiri, from the national coordination of the great green wall of Burkina Faso, stressed the relevance of the themes discussed and urged the local population to implement the advice given, particularly in land and water resource management.

Arana Paré, president of the special delegation, noted the importance of the consultation framework in bringing together development stakeholders in Kando to discuss crucial themes. He thanked the technical and financial partners for their support and encouraged the Kando population to embrace initiatives that promote development and improve living conditions.
